Our president, Matthieu Chouinard, will be speaking at the CSAE’s National Conference, which will be taking place from October 24-26 in Ottawa.
The Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) exists to educate, inform, and inspire employees of Canadian associations, offering their members professional development, leadership opportunities, and cutting-edge innovations to help them improve their organizations’ performance – and to advance their career.
Its annual conference aims to equip their members, as well as third-sector organizations, with the best practices, training, and tools available.
Matthieu Chouinard’s talk will revolve around protecting information.
For association executives whose expertise does not lie in cybersecurity, these topics may seem complex, and even incomprehensible in some cases. They have many, many related questions. What are they supposed to do? How do they know if their current efforts are working? Are they sufficiently protected?
The conference, presented by In Fidem, will cover a series of key tips to follow in order to take control of their organization’s cybersecurity. The principles outlined during the talk will help guide people in making the correct choices for their cybersecurity.
- Identify recommended practices for protecting association members’ information;
- Discuss effective methods for managing security measures;
- Determine steps to take in an organizational context.
Friday, October 26 from 10:05 AM to 11:05 AM.
